How to disable display of drives in 'My Computer'?
- Click on Start button then type 'regedit' in Run option and click on OK.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer - On the right window of registry editor, right-click the empty space and make 'New-DWORD Value' and give the value name "NoDrives".
- Right-click the new key you've made and select Modify.
- On the Value Data give the value "3ffffff" (Hexadecimal) and press OK.
- Then restart your computer.
- After restarting your computer, there are no drives will be shown in 'My Computer'.
- To enable display of drives in My Computer, simply delete this DWORD item.
