Autoplay begins reading from a drive as soon as you insert media in the drive. As a result, the setup file of programs and the music on audio media start immediately. So, if you want to turns off the Autoplay feature follow the given steps:-

• First go to Start Menu and click on RUN option or direct click Window Key+R to open RUN.
• Now type gpedit.msc on RUN.
• Group Policy Box will open.
• Then click Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System.
• Now on the right window of Group Policy Box, double click on ‘Turn off Autoplay’.
• Turn off Autoplay Properties Box will open.
• Then check the enable checkbox to turn off the Autoplay.

Note: If you enable this setting, you can also disable Autoplay on CD-ROM drives or disable Autoplay on all drives.
